Exhibition  Easter Inspirations Kaye Devlin 1st to 30th April

The York Mill Gallery was thrilled to be exhibiting the delightful works or Kaye Devlin for the month of April. This exhibition had strong ties to the animal word and Kaye association with them.

Exhibition From the Outback to the Sea Shane Moad 18th January to 30th March. Acclaimed award-winning artist Shane Moad exhibited his latest works at the York Mill Gallery – one of only two places he will show off his art.

Exhibition The Iron Ore Exhibition 5th to the 30th November 2011 with contributing works from Wayne Jeffery – Stephanie Boyle – Shirley Fisher. A reflective array of sculpture and imagery which showcased Western Australia’s unique landscape and mineral wealth.

Exhibition McCaffrey 2011 1st October to 1 November 2011-An overload of imagery, from the works created as “artist in  residence”, Cataract Gorge in  Tasmania to the works he has been developing these past 2 years – lush and rich in texture.  Tactile pieces that invite touch - glossed surfaces that resemble glass, glazed canvases, plush textiles and embellished fibre work.

Event Breast Cancer Walk from the York Mill 15 October 2011 10.00am

The York Mill is also home to the Providores Markets showcasing an exciting array of unique stall holders with a focus on local Western Australian produce, arts & crafts.

”To keep painting interesting” Michael says, ”I like to alternate between the two techniques, and to have them displayed in the newly renovated Boiler Room Gallery at the York Mill, will be both an honor and pleasure.”

 

EASTER INSPIRATIONS

ART lovers should consider a York visitation for some observations of creative inspirations this month. Running until April 30, it’s all part of the free exhibition Easter Inspirations from Toodyay-based artist Kaye Devlin at The York Mill’s Boiler Room gallery.

 

From the Outback to the Sea Shane Moad

ACCLAIMED award-winning artist Shane Moad exhibiting his latest works at the York Mill Gallery – one of only two places he will show off his art.

“I was impressed with the total re-painting and modelling of the gallery space and I’m looking forward to being the first artist to have their work viewed in this new environment.
